Tomatoes Project
Idyllwild, Ca.
-How did you become interested in becoming a creative person?
I have always been a creative at heart.
In my early 20’s I started taking art classes like watercolors and glass working.
-How would you describe your work?
A colorful mix of all types of materials like watercolors, pastels, acrylic, ink, fabric.
I’m not into realism or sketching.
I let the creative in me come out in my projects originally.
I will often let my studio inspire my next project often using scraps from previous projects fueling the next. That’s where my paper making comes in hand. Using recycled materials I will make paper.
-What inspires you and brings you the most satisfaction in doing your creative endeavors?
Knowing I have an avenue for working on projects that get me out of my head. Living in Idyllwild is a slower way of life that I embrace and use to my creative adventures.
